Endurance

I fall

I get up

I fall again

I aspire to be

I must be

I will only be if…

Time,

Like the flow of the tide,

It never ceases,

But it continues on forever.

Strength comes from endurance

This poem came from one of my old note books, where I clearly tried a couple of times to start writing a piece, but without success...however, without knowing, these first lines formulated their own poem entirely...so perhaps this piece could be called ' A Collection of First Lines' if you will. It reminds me to keep going and keep trying - success will come.
